Global Game Jam


Global Game Jam is an annual event hold world wide where people come together to create a game in 48 hours.

Since my first time in 2018, I have been participating every year in different programmer roles.

The game for 2019 was developed with Unreal Engine and Blueprints, all the other entries use the Unity game engine and C#. Most of the games target the PC or web, some have been developed for mobile phones.

I mostly worked on gameplay, UI and audio programming, but helped out in different areas if necessary. Besides that I participated in project management and game design discussions, which is typical to do for all team members in the context of a game jam.

In recent years I have also been focusing more on guiding less experienced developers by providing them with suitable tasks and helping them in case of technical difficulties.
